In the event that not enough students sign up for a session, all existing registered students will automatically roll over to the next Group Voice Over Coaching session and will be contacted by an Edge Studio staff member regarding the change.
A minimum of three students must be registered in order for the session to happen – the cutoff will be 48 hours before the scheduled session. If a student is not prepared with something to work on, the Edge coach will work on voice over technique with the student.Īll Group Voice Over Coaching sessions are limited to four students and run for one hour. Students can use the Edge Studio Script Library as a great resource for voice over copy to work on with their coach. Students should come to group sessions with an idea of what they would like to work on and how they would like to use their time. These group coaching sessions are meant for students to use their portion of the session to work on their own voice over skills however they see fit, and to learn from one another by watching other students in practice. When not actively working, the other three students will remain muted and simply observe their peers in action as they work with the coach.Īll Group Voice Over Coaching sessions will be considered standalone sessions, and cannot be used toward Edge’s Demo Training Program. When it is the student’s turn to work with the Edge instructor, they can choose to use their time however they please. The group coaching session will run for one hour, and the time will be evenly divided between all four students in attendance, concluding with a small group debrief in the final minutes of the hour. In a Group Voice Over Coaching session, four students will meet with an Edge Studio coach to work on all things voice over – acting and vocal technique, audition material, reading different genres of voice over copy. A Group Voice Over Coaching session is ideal for students who are looking to dip their toes into voice acting without committing to a larger financial investment or for those who are looking to brush up on their skills without breaking the bank. Voice over coaching has never been more affordable – with a group coaching session, students will receive individualized training at a fraction of the cost of a normal private session.
